About Me

Howdy!

My name is Angie, and I am a student, professional (or at least, pretending to be), and an avid lover of nature and making spaces green. When I moved to DFW a few years ago I tried my luck at with a few outdoor succulents to spruce up my front porch, and it turned into me absolutely falling in love with the craft of growing, caring for, and learning as much as I can about all the wonderful plants that come my way.

What then, is the point of this blog? Ultimately, I want this blog to serve as a space to help avid plant parents, plant stepparents, grandparents, children of plants, or whatever moniker you chose to go by, to have resources, tips, and as many recommendations as I can possibly pluck from my brain- let’s face it, being green can be tough! I understand how overwhelming owning a plant can be, especially in small spaces, low-light dwellings, or just feeling like you’ll never have the time to care for something as delicate as a plant with the bustle life brings us; let me change ya life.

I do also like to craft, cook, bake and eat…. so let’s also allow this blog space to vibe & experience new things together.

Some fun facts about me, since you’re already here: I’m a microbiology major. I have a 7 year old turtle name Squirt (my mom lovingly calls her stinky). When I was little, I tried growing a tomato plant in my backyard as a gift to my grandma, and she promptly mowed it over in a “tragic accident”. I love true crime documentaries and podcasts. I’m a subpar crocheter & sew in my spare time. I took 5 years of art classes, but the best thing I can draw is a raw potato- not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Tous les goûts sont dans la nature.
